Governance

CSIA is governed by a Council consisting of the Honorary Officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer as elected from the member bodies), past presidents, co-opted members and representatives of each national member organisation. The CSIA Council delegates the business, finances and affairs of the Association to the Executive Committee who reports to the Council annually.

Funmi Ekundayo is an Alumna of the Harvard Business School. Funmi holds a Bachelor of Law degree and Master of Laws degree from the University of Lagos Nigeria. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) where she also serves as a member of the Governing Council.

CS Dhananjay Shukla, a Commerce and Law graduate, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He is a Practising Company Secretary based out of Gurugram and has expertise in the areas of Corporate Law, Securities Law and Taxation.

Simon Yeoh Seng Leong, Immediate Past President of MAICSA (July 2022 – June 2024), is a Governance Professional with expertise in taxation. A dedicated Fellow member of MAICSA, he has actively contributed to various Institute committees.

Datuk Suseela Menon is a Past President of CSIA, having held the position of President from 2023 to 2024. In 2025, CSIA conferred the Honorary Life President Award to Datuk Suseela Menon.

Ms Lam assumes the role of Chief Executive of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) in July 2026. With a distinguished career in corporate governance, Ms Lam brings a wealth of expertise in engaging with boards, regulators, and diverse stakeholder groups across Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region.
