Ms Lam assumes the role of Chief Executive of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) in July 2026.

With a distinguished career in corporate governance, Ms Lam brings a wealth of expertise in engaging with boards, regulators, and diverse stakeholder groups across Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms Lam has held progressively senior in-house positions, most recently as Head of Legal and Company Secretary at an HKEX-listed company, where she acted as a strategic business partner to the CEO and senior leadership team.

Prior to this, she was Senior Legal Counsel at one of Asia’s leading fintech companies and held the dual role of Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for a Hong Kong based financial group.  Earlier in her career, Ms Lam has gained invaluable expertise in corporate law and governance at leading international law firms.

With her extensive experience and leadership skills,  Ms Lam is well-positioned to lead HKCGI into an exciting new chapter of growth and achievement.
