CSIA welcomed 2 new members to the Council on 17 February 2021.

Ms Loretta Chan FCG(CS, CGP) FCS(CS, CGP)
Council Member and Chairman, Professional Development Committee, HKCGI; Partner, Tax – Corporate Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd

Loretta Chan FCG(CS, CGP) FCS(CS, CGP) is a Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd (PwC), overseeing its Corporate Services Department.

Prior to joining PwC in 2015, Ms Chan was a Consultant of an international law firm. Before that, she was the Associate Company Secretary of a major listed insurance company in Hong Kong.

Ms Chan started her career in the legal field. She is a solicitor qualified in Hong Kong and has extensive experience of advising on corporate and commercial matters both in private practice and as an in-house legal counsel. She had headed the legal department of a listed group comprising three Hong Kong listed entities for five years.  Before going in house, she was a partner of an established law firm in Hong Kong.

Ms Chan received her Bachelor of Laws degree from The University of Hong Kong. She also received a Bachelor’s degree in China Law from the China University of Political Science and Law and a Master’s degree in Comparative and Public History from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Ms Chan is currently a Member of the Hong Kong Law Society, a Fellow of the The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (“HKCGI”) and The Chartered Governance Institute (formerly The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators), a Council Member of HKCGI, the Chairman of its Professional Development Committee [and representative of HKCGI to the Council and Executive Committee of the Corporate Secretaries International Association Limited].

Mr Taona Munzvadi is a Fellow and current President of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe and a Chartered Governance and Accounting Professional (Zimbabwe and UK). Ms Chan and Mr Munzvadi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the CSIA Council and we look forward to their contribution to building the CSIA and the global governance community.



Corporate Secretaries International Association Limited (CSIA) was established in Geneva in 2010 as an association constituted according to article 60 et seq, of the Swiss Civil Code and entered into the commercial register in Switzerland and was relocated and registered as a company limited by guarantee in Hong Kong in 2017.
